WALKING
You can and will do a lot of walking in the
Costalegre.
| The cheapest and most reliable form
of transportation in Costalegre is on foot. Your
walking range is limited, but is the best way to see local areas
close up. Take advantage of all the places you can
walk to. There are many sights to see and enjoy. |
BICYCLING
Some towns have shops that rent bicycles
(bicicletas). Try to reserve one the day before
you need it. They may not have helmets for rent.
Take drinking water with you, as well as sunscreen and a
hat. |
BUSING
Buses
are an economical way to travel around town or between
areas. They are an excellent way to meet locals and
take in Mexican culture. The destination of the bus
is posted in the top sign at the front of the bus or
painted on the front window.

There are a few locals who will take you places in their
vans or pick-up trucks. Some supply snorkel
equipment and boogie boards. Enquire locally.
If you use their services, check to see if they have
insurance to carry paid passengers, and a business license
to do so. |
